Social networking leads to sex faster?
So when these couples are finally having sex, I bet they would stop in the middle of making out to answer an incoming text.
Seriously, whatever happened to dating?

In my experience it certainly can lead to quicker sex, by getting each other so wound up and horny you need to fuck each other on sight. However, the downside is after – when you have to do the proper ‘real’ dating – it doesn’t always work.
Technology…makes us do things in reverse.
I did a post similar to this: http://ssn713.wordpress.com/2010/12/16/waxing-nostalgic/
[…] However I was so interested by a recent entry by a friend Asian Dyna’s blog regarding modern ways of becoming intimate called Texting, Facebook and Sex. […]
My wife and I met through match.com. While we were both looking for Mr. & Mrs. Right, more often than not it was for hooking up.
I think it definitely speeds up the ‘getting to know you’ phase. Which could lead to a quicker knocking of boots.
I could think of many things that would piss me off more than someone answering a phone while we were shagging.
I don’t even like when people check their phones when I am talking to them. I guess I am old fashioned in that sense, but I am also sure I have been guilty of this.
You’re not alone. I get annoyed that way too!
I agree that online dating is not all bad. I know a few couples who met this way and are now happy together. 🙂
An interesting topic, but has technology driven online hook ups or have freer social values liberated women to be more sexual and willing to explore new boundaries.
I’ve always accepted the fact that values change over time. However, I’m a little bit old fashioned when it comes to dating. I still prefer being face to face with the person.
